Your next guest is searching right now.

I'm Bertrand. I help small tourism businesses in Malta and Gozo show up where guests are looking, and book them direct.

Bookings start on a results page.

Fewer than half of Malta's small businesses have a website. Guests search, find nothing, and book whoever showed up instead.

Found gets the click. Trusted gets the enquiry.

People decide in seconds. Real photos, current hours, answered reviews, a page that answers their questions before they ask. That is what turns a search into an enquiry.

Direct bookings keep what the platforms take.

Every platform booking hands over 15 to 20 percent. A direct path, your Google profile, your site, your WhatsApp, keeps it yours.

This is where a direct booking ends up.

Your door, not a platform's checkout. If you want to know where your bookings leak, ask me for a free audit. It is a conversation, not a pitch.

Sound familiar?

You may be losing bookings you never hear about.

Most owners find out the hard way: the season is busy, the platforms are billing, and the direct enquiries are quiet. Usually it is one of these.

How I work

Found. Trusted. Booked.

01 Found

Your Google Business Profile rebuilt properly: right categories, current hours, real photos, reviews answered and new ones coming in. When someone searches your area, you show up and look open.

02 Trusted

A fast one-page site that answers what guests ask before they book: prices, availability, how to reach you, what it is really like. Built around your photos, not stock ones.

03 Booked

A direct way in: WhatsApp button, booking link or a simple form, wired so enquiries reach you instantly. Where it helps, I also automate the repetitive parts: replies, reminders, review requests.

Not on this list? Ask anyway.

Every business runs differently, so I build custom setups and automations around how yours actually works: booking flows, guest messaging, the admin that eats your evenings. If something in your day feels like it should be automatic, message me and we will talk it through. Worst case, you leave with a free second opinion.

Start here, free

The visibility audit shows where bookings leak.

The audit is free, takes me a day, and you keep it either way. If it shows real leaks, I will tell you what I would fix and what it costs. If it does not, I will tell you that too.

Where you appear in search

What Google shows for your services and your area, and who it shows instead of you.

Whether your details hold up

Hours, photos, reviews, contact paths. The small wrong things that quietly turn guests away.

Whether a stranger would trust it

Your web presence read the way a first-time guest reads it, in the few seconds they give it.

Where the platforms capture demand

Which of your bookings are paying commission that a direct path would have kept.

Who you would be working with

I'm Bertrand. I run Operant from Malta.

I started Operant because the gap here is obvious once you see it: the islands are full of genuinely good small businesses that are nearly invisible online, paying platforms for guests who would happily have booked directly.

I work with a small number of businesses at a time, audit first. You see exactly what is wrong and what it is costing you before you decide anything. If the audit shows you are already in good shape, I will tell you that too.

No jargon, no retainer until something is running that earns it, and you can reach me directly. That is the whole model.

I would rather have a conversation than a contract. Tell me how your bookings work now and I will tell you honestly whether I can help.
